Yes, your Monitor profiles can also be used in Listen if your topics and search words are similar. However, the query string will look different in Listen compared to Monitor, in order to optimize the results you get in the different tools.
Before you create a search profile in Listen you should consider the following:
Which social media channels are relevant for you to cover?
Which hashtags do you wish to cover?
Are you covering topics in Monitor that are not relevant in Listen?
Are you covering topics in Listen that could also be relevant in Monitor?
